Review by VF Rdo

Alan Merrill's debut solo album, Merrill 1, is a testament to his incredible talent as a musician and songwriter. The album is a collection of ten tracks that showcase Merrill's ability to blend different genres of music, from rock to blues to pop, with ease.

The opening track, "I Love Rock N Roll," is a reimagining of Merrill's hit song from his time with the band The Arrows. The song is given a fresh spin with a more bluesy sound and a guitar solo that is sure to get your toes tapping.

Other standout tracks include "Billy Idol," a catchy pop-rock tune that pays tribute to the iconic singer, and "Lonely Tonight," a soulful ballad that highlights Merrill's emotive vocals.

Throughout the album, Merrill's guitar skills are on full display, with each song featuring impressive riffs and solos. His songwriting is equally impressive, with lyrics that are both clever and heartfelt.
