Review by Jason Minor

The Munsters album by Billy Strange is a classic piece of music that takes the listener back to the 1960s. The album features a collection of songs that were inspired by the popular TV show The Munsters. The album is a perfect blend of rock, jazz, and pop, which makes it a delightful listening experience.

The album opens with the iconic theme song of The Munsters, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The song features a catchy melody, and Billy Strange's guitar work is exceptional. The album also includes other memorable tracks such as "Herman's Blues," "Lily," and "Grandpa's Lab."

The Munsters album is a perfect example of how music can be used to enhance the experience of watching a TV show. The songs on the album perfectly capture the spirit of the show and its characters. Billy Strange's arrangements and guitar work are top-notch, and the album has a timeless quality that makes it enjoyable to listen to even today.

A show that I loved as a kid. I had this record back in the late seventies found it at a Goodwill store in Killeen Tx.

I love how around :50, they go straight for the "Pizzicato Mysterioso." It wasn't until hearing Strange's version of this that I realized Jack Marshall had based the whole piece on it. Edumacational!

Well I suppose it's better than Milton Delugg's ponderous version!?
