After winning the television talent show Opportunity Knocks, Candlewick Green signed to Decca Records, and had a hit single with the song "Who Do You Think You Are?

Thanks sooo much for posting this. I haven't heard this song, since seeing it on Top Of The Pops 42 years ago. Up till now, that was the one and only time I heard the song, but I have always loved and never forgot the catchy tune and lyrics. I even had a letter published in the paper, because I knew a line from this song. For the last 42 years, I have hummed the tune when waiting for the last bus home.

Had this once on cassette tape that broke, been looking for this great number for years. A classic! I played it on the way home from a coach tour of Rome, Florence and Pisa and made Candlewick Green a whole bus full of new fans.
Wow! I'd forgotten about this one. Reminds me of a couple I saw once who were so busy snogging at the bus stop in Colchester that they missed the last bus to Halstead. I still remember the frantic "wait!" which the girl shouted and the bus driver either ignored or missed. What an anticlimax for them. Wonder when they finally got home.
