Review by Zhiheng Lin

Carmen Amaya's album Furia is a powerful and emotional journey through the world of flamenco. The album showcases Amaya's incredible talent as a dancer and singer, as well as her ability to bring together a diverse range of musical styles and influences.

From the opening track "Furia," with its driving rhythms and intense vocals, to the hauntingly beautiful "Soleá," Amaya's performances are full of passion and energy. Her voice is raw and powerful, perfectly complementing the intricate guitar work and percussion that make up the backbone of the album.

Tracks like "Tientos" and "Malagueña" showcase Amaya's ability to blend traditional flamenco sounds with modern influences, creating a unique and captivating sound that is all her own. The album also includes a number of instrumental tracks, allowing the musicians to showcase their impressive skills and adding a depth and complexity to the overall sound.
