Review by Andrés Felipe VALencia GAllón

History In 3 Chords Milwaukee Alternative Bands 1973-1982 is a unique and captivating album that takes listeners on a musical journey through the underground music scene of Milwaukee during the 1970s and 1980s. Featuring a collection of songs from various artists, the album is a testament to the raw and unfiltered spirit of punk rock and alternative music during this era.

The album starts with the driving beats of "New Rose" by The Haskels, which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The tracks that follow are equally energetic and showcase the diverse range of sounds that were emerging from the Milwaukee music scene during this time.

One standout track is "Liar" by The Lubricants, which features a catchy guitar riff and powerful vocals that will leave listeners singing along. Another notable track is "Sally Go Round the Roses" by Plasticland, which showcases the band's unique blend of psychedelic and punk rock influences.

Thanks for posting this.  I wrote this tune and co-founded the band.  We always get confused with the Detroit guys, but that's life.  There are a few more Death tunes at mkepunk.com.  Unfortunately, as with this one they were recorded on crappy portable cassette recorders either at a practice, such as this one, live in Death House's dining room on Cramer Street on Milwaukee's hip east side, or they were recorded at our first gig where we did mainly Stooges and VU covers.  I'm still playing in bands after all these years...why not.

i was informed this is not the same as the band from Detroit under the same name, both started in 1971. this was a milwaukee band called Death. odd coincidence

In the late 70's and very early 80's Milwaukee had one of the most under-rated and dynamic underground punk/power pop scenes in the country....The Haskels, Shivvers, The Ones (aka Ozone), Oil Tasters, RPM's, Die Kreuzen, Clitboys, etc. Just killer stuff of which some still remains unreleased (i.e. The Haskels' unreleased LP session).

Was there at the memorial. That was my mom crying saying how angry she was at his death. Miss my times visiting with him at Baldonis.
Jerome did a lot for me.  He had faith in me as an artist when most people didn't.  He was a Rock icon to say the least.
my dad found him in front of his old house on brady and called 911
